Architectural Engineering

Architectural Engineering or Building Engineering is an engineering discipline that deals with all aspects of planning, designing and construction of buildings and residentials. A graduate in Architectural Engineering plays a key role in architectural planning and analysing the construction of residential buildings. While pursuing the course, students will learn the fundamentals of architecture and they will implement those methods after the completion of the course. The average fee for this course starts from Rs.60,000 to 7 Lakhs and the average annual salary offered by the companies will be INR. 3 lakhs to 11 Lakhs per annum. After completion of the course, students will get the opportunities to work in both the public and private sectors. Topics such as Architecture and its history, interior design, architectural graphics, Construction methods, Mechanical and Electrical Structural Analysis, etc. will be the syllabus of the course.

Eligibility criteria & Admission:

✦  For Diploma course, candidate should have passed 10th standard with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.

✦  For Bachelor's degree (B.Arch) candidate must have done Intermediate or 10+2 in Mathematics stream with a minimum of 50% marks from any recognized board. (or) a student should have done a 10+3 Diploma in any stream with a minimum aggregate of 50% from any institution recognised by central or state governments. (or) a student should have done his or her International Baccalaureate Diploma with Mathematics subject (must include) after schooling, with a maximum of 50% aggregate marks. Students need to qualify NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture)/ JEE Main Paper 2/ AAT (Architecture Aptitude Test) entrance test for admission.

✦  For Bachelor's degree in B.Tech (Architecture Engineering), the candidate must have done Intermediate or 10+2 in science subjects with a minimum of 50% aggregate. Students need to qualify in the JEE Entrance examination to get admission.

✦  For a Master's degree in Architecture Engineering, the candidate must have done B.Tech in Architecture with a minimum of 55% aggregate from any recognized university. Students must get a good score in entrance examinations like GATE, TANCET or any other examinations conducted by the respective colleges.
